Three Lip Liners For Brown Skins

Brown lip liners are essential to my existence.
Ever since I started wearing makeup, my go to has been brown lip liner. I used to think I was too dark for colored lipsticks which is why I always stuck with clear gloss. The way my complexion and lips are, I can't just wear lipstick without a liner or it looks odd. One thing that helped tremendously was finding brown lip liners. I used to be obsessed with pink lipstick and lip gloss on other people. I went to Mac and tried them on but absolutely hated it.It wasn't until a Mac artist did my makeup and lined my lips that I realized what was missing.
CHESTNUT, changed my life forever. It's by Mac and is the perfect brown for honestly any complexion. It's perfect for nudes, peaches, pinks, and even reds. I use Chestnut even for an ombre effect. The lip combinations you can do with Chestnut are endless. It costs $18 and is sold at Mac, Ulta, and even Amazon. Great thing I love with Mac is, once you get six empty products, you can turn them back in for a lipgloss or lipstick. It's the Back-To-Mac program and is something I do bi-monthly. Next up is one of my newer favorites. I know the reviews on Kylie Cosmetics can be very negative, but she has a lot of good products. I have a few of her lip kits and even some of her pallets. True Brown, is one that I'm obsessed with. It's the perfect brown liner and lipstick combo. I was very skeptical and nervous about ordering a brown lipstick, because I didn't know if it would look weird with my skin complexion. The lip kit came with a 'True Brown'
lipstick and lip liner. I occasionally wear the lipstick, but the lip liner has definitely made it's way to my favorites. The liner is a little richer than Chestnut. I love pairing it with matte nude lipsticks. The liner is perfect for long wear. Its creamy formula, is unmatched. The lip kit costs $29, but is currently on sale for $23.20. Last but certainly not least is my newest favorite. I recently was watching Aaliyah Jay Insta story, she was talking about her lip combos. One color that she mentioned was Nyx Cosmetics, Expresso
liner. I started researching the lip pencil and saw amazing reviews. I ran to Sephora to give it a try. I absolutely love Nyx's "Expresso' eyebrow pencil, so I knew it would amazing. This one is very vey similar to chestnut, but a tad bit warmer. If Mac's Chestnut is too expensive for you, this dupe is only $4. You can pick this up honestly anywhere makeup is sold. Nyx is such a great brand with quality products, but the prices are all so affordable. Starting out with makeup can be very expensive, that's why Nyx is perfect for those who are experimenting.
